We were commissioned by National Geographic Channel to make a VFX and motion graphics package that would tie together a fast sequence of clips from the previous season.
Whenever we get a new project we search for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible to do. In this case we didn’t just want to show a harsh ice-cold environment, we wanted people to almost feel it.
To do this we needed to make our effects hyper real so we built a photography studio into an electric freezer, effectively recreating the sub-zero environment of Alaska.
