We love summer and we love BBQs, so when NomadiQ asked us to make a flashy new video to promote their new portable, lightweight gas BBQ, we were more than happy to help out. We had a lot of fun creating this dynamic CG-driven piece and exploring different ways to showcase the multiple features this product has to offer. 

 

Process

 

Before the beginning of the project, NomadiQ provided us with a 3D model of their new product as well as a physical replica of the BBQ. With both assets in hand, we were able to construct a bold and dynamic edit that combined both 3D animation and live action footage. We used Cinema 4D’s powerful animation capabilities in order to highlight the features of the NomadiQ BBQ in a playful and attractive way. Dynamic camera movements were also added to give the piece a greater sense of movement and to accentuate the light and portable nature of this innovative product.
